Hello. My name is Adriana Demos, founder of Equally Equipped. Equally Equipped was founded in 2022 after closing my wrestling career placing 3rd at the IHSA Girls Wrestling State Tournament. Equally Equipped was created based on my journey to becoming a part of a male dominated sport. When I was in 7th grade I had approached my schools wrestling coach expressing my interest in joining the team, but in response to that he asked me if I was sure I didn't just want to be a manager.

That statement to this day is the reason why I founded my non-profit organization - Equally Equipped - because no girl should ever be told she can't do something due to her gender
